Sorry this post is a few days late. We have been having a hell of a time over here. We finally got the house on the market last Tuesday, just in time for Darrell to get really sick. He has been out of work for more than a week now. He is trying a half day today, so we shall see if that was it. So, it is late, but not too bad overall. 🙂

Weekly Updates:

How far along: 21 weeks

Baby’s size: Carrot – Your baby, currently the length of a carrot, weighs about 3/4 of a pound. (Head to Heel: 10.5 inches)

Sleep: Sleep has been horrible this last week. Darrell came down with something and is still sick from it, so I have been trying to help him feel better, trying not to catch it (thus far I haven’t), and just overall waking up when he wakes up. Not very conducive to sleeping though.

Maternity Clothes: Yep. Totally loving my stretchy pants I found at Sears for $4. 🙂

Food Cravings: No cravings this week. I think I have been to tired to actually crave anything.

Food Aversions: Spicy. I still can’t eat things that were mildly spicy for me before pregnancy. Which sucks since I love the chicken curry I make and I can’t eat it. 🙁

Symptoms I have: I have been having to pee constantly. Sprout likes to push on the bladder.

Doctor’s Appointment: MFM on 1/30; Midwife on 2/4; and OB on 2/12

Movement: So far only I have been feeling Sprout. On Saturday night, I felt Sprout from the outside, but baby stopped kicking before I could get Darrell to feel. 🙁 Hopefully sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Belly Button: Innie. But it is definitely starting to move to a more level position.

Gender: Team Yellow!

What I’m looking forward to: Darrell feeling Sprout. It is something I have been anxious for since he never got to feel Pixel kick. Sprout is definitely more active than Pixel was, so fingers crossed. I am also looking forward to passing 30 weeks. It is a milestone we have been anxious for, but I know that it doesn’t necessarily mean we are safe. We just keep looking forward to different milestones.

What I miss: Sleep.
