We are both excited as we get to go and see a speech by Joel Salatin. One of the local colleges has a group called the Locavore club (focus on eating local food) and they were able to get Joel to come to Abilene and talk about stuff. There is going to be a small farmers market before hand, then the talk, and then the book signing. I think D is way more excited than I am, but nonetheless I am excited as well. We shall see how it goes. Last time we went to something they put on, they had a “background” band that was amplified and you could barely hear the person next to you.
